On December 16, 2025, an orientation event titled “Beyond Graduation: Tech Careers, Artificial Intelligence and Choices That Matter” took place at the University of Naples Federico II, offering Computer Science students an opportunity to reflect on their professional future beyond the degree.
Held in Aula CL‑I‑1 at the Via Claudio campus, the session encouraged students to view graduation not as an arrival point, but as the beginning of a broader journey shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and informed decision‑making.
The meeting featured a guest talk by Ing. Antonio Visconti, CEO of Sobereye Inc. (Menlo Park, CA), who shared his international experience in AI‑driven technologies and workplace safety. His contribution offered a clear picture of how artificial intelligence is transforming the tech sector and what skills will matter most in the years ahead.
The event, led by Prof. Di Martino and Prof. Starace from the SQuIDS Lab, closed with an open discussion where students asked practical questions about career choices, interviews, early professional challenges, and opportunities in Italy and abroad. The initiative provided a valuable moment of guidance and dialogue within the Department of Computer Science.
