Congratulations to Dr. Sergio Di Meglio!
We’re proud to share that our student Sergio Di Meglio successfully defended his PhD thesis on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Sergio’s dissertation, “End-to-End Web Testing: A Focus on Adoption and Maintainability”, explores how end-to-end testing for web applications can be made easier to adopt in practice and more sustainable to maintain over time, two challenges that often determine whether automated testing efforts thrive or fade in real-world projects.

SQuIDS Lab engages local schools through the FOSTEM project
SQuIDS Lab member Luigi Starace took part in the FOSTEM outreach initiative, bringing hands‑on STEM activities to middle‑school students across Campania. Our contribution focused on introducing young learners to computer science, programming, and the basics of artificial intelligence through interactive workshops and demonstrations.
